This 4 bedroom, 3 full and 2 1/2 baths, home is nestled on a mountain overlooking a 7-acre private lake, mountain views and the sounds of the Mountain Town Creek rushing past your open doors and sprawling decks. Enjoy quiet sunsets on the lower flagstone patio and fire-pit area. Cook your meals on the Green Egg or large stainless steel grill at the outdoor kitchen area, just off the upper deck. Stroll down to the lake and enjoy the abundance of wildlife including the occasional bald eagle, or take one of the kayaks and a fishing pole where you can catch trout, bass, and brim.
If you are a nature lover or mountain bike enthusiast, the entire property (7-acres) is surrounded by the 100,000 acres Cohutta Wilderness Management Area. You can hike the Mountain Town Creek trail (about 7 miles) up to Doublehead Gap, the whole way following and crisscrossing Mountain Town Creek, which is full of native brook and rainbow trout.
