This is a very elegant direct Oceanfront home with the Atlantic Ocean as your own private back yard.
The home itself was built with the Ocean in mind having large glass 8 x 16 sliders in the formal dining room with the most amazing ocean views that are visible as soon as you enter the double pecky cypress front doors.
There are sliders in all the rooms that face east with ocean views from most of all the other rooms.
The oversized patio is made out of travertine marble and stretches across the complete rear of the home and all around the pool which has sun all day, facing east and west. The beach access is located at the end of the driveway, just across Surf Ln. It is a private community sidewalk path making it easy to bring beach carts and wheeled coolers for your day at the beach. The backyard has complete privacy from beachgoers and onlookers to the back of the home.
On the patio there is a built in gas grill for cooking right near the pool. It has a great out door area for sun bathing, swimming and enjoying meals on the patio furniture.
Many of our guests have enjoyed our home and have not left it to go out and about because they were very content enjoying the beach, privacy and all of the amenities that are offered with our home.
Other guests have enjoyed the quaint village of Indian River Shores where the home is located as well as the quaint Ocean Drive area with it's many restaurants, shops, and parks where art shows and farmers markets can be enjoyed.
This is truly a unique private beachfront estate close to everything.
We only rent our home on a weekly basis and only Saturday to Saturday to allow our guests a full weeks vacation.

Summary: We had a Love/Hate relationship with the property. The location was awesome with breathtaking sunrises and unrestricted direct views of the ocean. The home is spacious and the layout was really excellent with basically two master bedrooms it made entertaining very nice.The owners genuinely cared about our satisfaction, were very responsive, and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant.The first few days were trying as is often the case with a VRBO. The home was generally clean, but the dishes were dirty, we had ants in the pantry & kitchen, which they sent an exterminator for, I had to clean the tracks and put down dry lubricant on all the sliding doors, as the doors would not budge when we got there. We had to replace the air filters on both furnaces as they were filthy. The house smelled musty and they had electric air fresheners trying to mask the stale oder. We basically re-cleaned the entire place, but understand we are a bit obsessive. The beach access is fine, a short walk down the driveway and a shared sidewalk with all residents, although not being direct anymore, it is not nearly as convenient. The pool was kept clean and was set at 80, so very happy with that.They had new lounge chairs but the rest of the outdoor seating was old, some broken, poor quality cushions, etc. They had new beach towels & umbrellas. The furnishings are not what you expect in Florida, they appear to be all brought from up north, heavy wood antiques.
