My Dunes Club's unit is a three-bedroom, beautifully furnished, first floor, beachfront condominium unit. This serene property is located on the Gulf of Mexico on Cape San Blas, a large hook of land jutting out from the mainland near Port Saint Joe, Florida. Dunes Club has a swimming pool, boat and trailer storage, beach boardwalk, elevator, high speed wireless internet, and free long distance phone calling. The unit has a large deck facing out to the Gulf of Mexico. The view is also readily available through the living room and master bedroom sliding glass doors. Colorful wooden rockers, dining table seating 6, and electric grill are available on the deck. There is a stairway from the deck to the ground just a few feet from the swimming pool. A boardwalk leads straight to the beach where you find few other people, if any.
Pelicans and gulls fly overhead fishing and dolphins may be seen in the water. Fishing can be done from the beach with a valid fishing license. The surf is typically gentle. This area is one of peace, quiet, and tranquillity. One can walk the beach, pick up shells, or swim. Children can run and play, swim, and build sand castles.
The front of our Dunes Club unit has an additional large deck with stairs to the ground and the other two floors above. Adirondack chairs have been provided and serve as a great place to make long distance cell phone calls. The elevator and rolling carts from the ground level parking area makes moving in and out easy as well as transporting groceries.
The unit is spacious, with luxury leather sofas with 5 recliners, and includes all necessary amenities. The master bedroom features a huge king-size bed which could easily sleep three persons. It has an adjacent master bathroom with bath tub and shower. The second bedroom has a full-size bed plus a single bed with an adjacent bathroom which also is accessible from the main hallway. The third bedroom is small, colorful an set of bunk beds and small mounted TV. The master bedroom has a new flat screen television on the wall. The second master also has a wall mounted-swivel television. There is a large laundry room which provides extra storage area.
